Peyton is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in
child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she
worked for six years at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, managed an after-school
program in the Hillsborough County school system, and was raised by a mother who
owned a home daycare, contributing to her extensive knowledge of the child and
adolescent population. She is deeply passionate about supporting young individuals and
their families in navigating mental health challenges. Peyton acknowledges that the
complexities of life can be challenging and somewhat overwhelming. She values building
a good rapport with open communication and fostering a therapeutic environment where
patients and their families feel supported and empowered.
Although she considers ADHD and pediatric care her specialty, she can treat a variety of
mental health disorders for any age including but not limited to Depression, Anxiety,
Panic, PTSD, and Mood, Emotional, and Behavioral disorders. She offers medication
management, brief supportive psychotherapy, and psychotropic genetic testing. She
offers in-person and virtual visits for children, adolescents, and adults.
